The Arm of Support programme takes volunteers into schools to carry out English interaction in a playful manner and aims at increasing familiarity with spoken English in young children and increasing the confidence of these children with the English language.

The Discover Your Voice programme exposes children aged 7 to 11 to speaking in public. Following training in public speaking techniques and argument formulation, children are given the opportunity to speak in public in front of their class mates.

Debating skills improve ones ability to formulate arguments, negotiate and discuss and are important skills to acquire for career development in all fields. ESU brings a wealth of experience to bear on improving people's debating skills.

The fear of public speaking is one of the greatest fears that people face but a skill that, once mastered, not only allows you to further your career and prospects, exerting greater levels of influence, but can become a pleasurable experience.

ESU Malta offers various overseas scholarships to students and teachers in a variety of different disciplines related to strengthening English in Malta.
